the little things..

As a former bride, I know how stressful wedding planning can be.. but as a tip from both a photographer AND a bride.. the most important details you are ALLOWED to stress over are ACCESSORIES.. it will show in the photography! As important as picking out the wedding bands, the tiny details that may be overlooked to your guests, will shine in your album.

The shoes that will carry you down the aisle to your forever-soul-mate should be cute more than comfortable... lets, make it a rule.. and if they are hot pink.. EVEN BETTER!!! White is virtuous, however, boring.. there i said it! :)

i just love engagement sessions, so innocent and glowing...
and i get good engagement clients..
they are always game for going along with my crazy ideas, ahhh just love it.
and with the snow finally melting, i got to spend the morning with lovebirds kelley and shane
we saw this antique engine dated 1904, after post production, it will read 904.. also the date of kelley and shane's wedding.. our location was meant to be :)

9 day old baby sam was such a good sport.. i got to try out so many new ideas during his session! look at all that hair! it was really really hard to even narrow down to these, but admit it.. its hard not to fall in love with this little man...

a story teller for your love story..

On a recent wedding I got the opportunity to work with extremely talented, Emmy nominated videographer William Gaft founder of Human Story Films. I hadn't known of his work prior to this experience and let me tell you I'm jealous I didn't call this guy for my own weddings--yes.. weddings.. TWO of them.. to the same guy.. not a story for this blog post..

Anyways, definitely check his work out and his new, jaw-dropping website, and peek at his work. If you like what you see--which i'm sure you will--get with him soon.. he books up FAST as you can imagine!

Baby Caellum

Baby Caellum made his grand entrance, just a week and some change before Christmas.. what a precious Christmas gift he is! At just a few weeks old, I got to photograph him with his first baseball mitt.. after we made him tough out all the cute knit hats first of course!
